I don’t think hip-hop died. But you are right that most of it is about money and shock effect now. There’s still some good stuff out there, but all of pac’s music really had a message. RIP.

i dunno… i listene to that kind of music, but sometimes i wonder….. watta hell am i listening to. In my opinion hip hop, rap and rock stuff are not music at all!!

ABSOLUTLEY!! all rap (well the majority) went downhill after his death.. i really think he was a good rapper compared to the crap right now.. his songs came from the heart and talked about life issues.. MOST rappers rap about money, jewelery or chicks. thats all and its meaningless. so yes i do think rap and some hip hop died when he did…

I completely agree.
People are always suprised to find that I like him because I HATE rap…yet he’s one of my favorite artists.

2Pac rapped about real life stuff, not just gettin to the clubs and picking up girls. it seems like the majority of rappers mainly rap about money and women. its kindof sad, although i’ll always love hip-hop and i DONT agree with all the haters
