He’s the king of mainstream.
I don’t think saying he is unquestionably the king is unfair to so many other great rappers, in fact saying anyone is the one and only king of rap is unfair in my opinion. I do think he is one of the greatest ever and also one of the most influential, but I can’t say it for certain. And I can’t see how rap music that makes you do more push ups makes the artist the greatest ever.
